So,I have become an adult by definition in some aspects.
I voted in the primaries. I never thought in a million years that I'd vote. I couldn't. It stood against everything,my "bohemian" liberal self stood for. It seemed simple enough & really my sister composed the whole thing. Afterwards, I felt a sense of self accomplishment I never thought I could gain from one small seemingly insignificant act. I love it. Then I found out that the candidate I voted for was making a killing in the race. Super pleased with myself. Almost too please. Then it dawned on me. I could very well be taking apart in history. I always thought that in my lifetime I would accomplish some incredible feat. Even if it is this small seemingly insignificant gesture, I can die knowing that in some small way we do all have a purpose. Even if it is passive aggressive.

P.S. Now, when I drink a forty I pour it into a glass. I am such a classy grown up.
